Mr. FM Off To School With His Ben 10 Bag

Yesterday evening we went for an unusual shopping,this was the first experience for both of us. Okay, now before you wonder, whether we never use to shop or whats so unusual about it?? let me tell you, Mr. FM is off to school in the coming week and we are busy buying his school uniforms, bags ,tiffins, water bottles etc. Was totally confused figuring out what and all he will need. Its a different feeling of the thought of he going school. I feel so happy that he has grown, but then, its hard to realise even I had grown..:( . Yeah.. Imagine, now , Iam a mom of a schooler and from now, all my phone calls, chats and even blog post will be about schooling of your kid..!!!How strangely and fast our life changes and how our priorities changes is magical.

2 years back, when I started working and Mr. FM was very small, I didnt want him to sent in a daycare , I decided to hire a full time maid (its a big deal both financially and socially to hire a full time maid for a young expatriate family in Qatar) , so I decided to try my luck with few with out sponsoring them, In a short span of 8 months, I tried my luck with almost 4 maids and gave up..!! My whole day was a big mess up and I found it really hard to manage my job and home and “MAIDS” especially. I still remember, one of my close friend, then said me ” you know , dont get me wrong, you behave seriously like a psycho now, you have nothing else to speak to anyone other than maids. before your face lights up when we name a place we visited or a food we tried, but now I see that only when someone say that they all so have a miserable maid.: ” that was seriously sarcastic, but it made me think, is it true?? if not why should she lie?? then I analysed myself, and yes,I found out its true like hell..!!! thats the moment I realised I have to get out of the situation (there were tims when I worry about my kid and hubby so much ending up scolding irritating them the most) , and I resigned..!!! Yes.. left a good promising job of mine and decided to take a break, relax and then search for a new job. And I did that, I cooled my mind and body,visited our family in Kerala,India, and came back ,thank god, I got another job and till date everything is going on well. But after taking up the new job, first thing I did was to sponsor a full time maid for us (spending a whooping sum , still woth it), so now my life is better, (All praises to the Almighty God).

And, thus Mr. FM has struggled and over come so much ever since his birth (he was a pre matured baby,born in 8 month first and weighing only 1.9 kg) , now he is stepping into the a new world of knowledge,fun and friends, I wish my son, all the very best to his future ahead with a small piece of advice, ” You have only one life,so live it to the fullest. Everyday will have darkness, face it,when it lights up, rejoice it” (I hope one day he will  read and understand what it really means, he will love us (Me & my Hubby) for being not so sweet sometimes )
